Light at the end of the Tunnel!!

Well, it is now the start of May and things are, slowly but surely, starting to look a little more positive.
Catering is possible already, but with the restrictions still in place, it makes it very tricky. Soon, it will be possible to have family and friends in your home and some of the local accommodation providers will be welcoming increasing numbers of guests from further afield. I am really looking forward to this and to the possibility of a summer of catering at last!
I have made some changes over the past few months, whilst lockdown has continued to restrict any actual business. The new PDS Moray Logo can be seen above and it is a nice new addition. This will be used across all the PDS social media and will work towards getting some branded marketing materials and possibly clothing to start the new post-lockdown era! I have also spent some time making changes to the website - www.pdsmoray.com and have, for the first time, given some sample menus on the page. I felt it was important to give some examples of what we have done in the past and what is possible. The same flexibility and bespoke approach to each client still applies though, and it is always nice to come up with new ideas of adaptations of successful dishes from the past.
In addition to the website and logo changes, I have also begun indicating some pricing information on the page. This is really for some guidance only but it may help to set out some parameters early on in the process. The variety of jobs and enquiries that have been received over the past 7 years is huge and, therefore, it is not always possible to stick to a rigid way of pricing. I always try to be transparent in terms of my own costs and time taken to complete the job thoroughly. Again, there is huge flexibility when it comes to regular work, extensive catering for a visiting group or being clever with how the job is managed. The bottom line and main focus is always on the quality and making sure that PDS clients receive the best service and can look back on a memorable experience. I will say for certain that PDS Moray will not be the cheapest Caterer that you can find. However, I can guarantee a professional service, excellent food, personal touch and value for money. 25 years of experience in the industry and 7 years of providing high-quality, small-scale catering goes a long way to giving prospective clients the confidence that they need when booking a Caterer.
Lastly, as we come out of a restricted lifestyle, everyone will be keen to catch up on the things that they have not been able to do over the past year. Going out with friends, family gatherings, holidays, enjoying local hospitality and generally being sociable again! Whether you are planning a gathering of some sort in a country house, lodge, chalet or castle later in the year or you have a real desire for a restaurant experience with close friends in the comfort of your own home, you should consider getting in touch with PDS Moray. We too are a small, local business and we pride ourselves on also supporting the local economy by sourcing the best quality ingredients that we can, from some of the North East's finest producers and outlets. The diary is starting to take shape and some dates are in high demand already. If you would like to discuss your requirements and see what we can do for you then please get in touch by email pdsmoray@aol.co.uk or through the website form, Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter or by phone on 07875453917.
Lastly, I just wanted to offer support and praise for all the hospitality businesses across the country, who have endured such a difficult time over the past year. In particular, this goes out to all the great businesses, suppliers, owners, fellow caterers and professionals who I am proud to have worked with over the past 7 years. Very much looking forward to working with you all again and here's hoping that the rest of 2021 and the entirety of 2022 follow a more predictable and positive path. If there is anything that I can do to assist as things open up again then please just get in touch.
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for reading!
